為了紀念初代PlayStation主機的24歲生日，Sony在去年12月3日發布了全新的PlayStation Classic，這款主機尺寸比初版PS1縮小45%，預裝了當時最經典的多款遊戲，提供兩隻沒有搖桿的手掣，輸出接口有HDMI。
這款復刻主機中收錄的遊戲有《Metal Gear Solid》、《Grand Theft Auto》、《Rayman》、《Intelligent Qube》、《Battle Arena Toshinden》、《Cool Boarders 2》、《Destruction Derby》、《Mr Driller》、《Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee》、《 Resident Evil Director's Cut》、《Revelations: Persona》、《Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo（戰士方塊II）》、《Syphon Filter》、《Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 》、《Twisted Metal》、《Final Fantasy VII》、《Jumping Flash》、《Ridge Racer Type 4》、《Tekken 3》、《 Wild Arms》。
